AMETEK Programmable Power is always committed to fostering a positive, welcoming, and encouraging work environment for all employees. We are especially proud and have enjoyed a few events that have been organized in the first half of 2022. Continue reading to get a taste of our events this year so far.

Earlier this year, on March 4, the company celebrated Employee Appreciation Day with tacos and frozen yogurt for the entire AMETEK Programmable Power team. In addition to enjoying the beautiful San Diego weather, attendees also participated in a raffle with prizes which added an extra element of fun for our awesome team. Next, to kick off the summer season, the company celebrated Cultural Diversity Day on June 1 with a potluck where employees could showcase their culinary skills with dishes tied closely to their family and background. There was certainly no shortage of wonderful food for the team to enjoy, and there were many other activities to enjoy throughout the afternoon too. Members of the AMETEK Programmable Power team placed pins on a map which hangs in our building to represent the countries that each employee's cultural heritage connects to. Needless to say, we’re the definition of a global company! If all that wasn’t enough, employees took a few extra minutes to play games such as Lotería (traditional Mexican game of chance), display flags from different countries, and exchange stories about their backgrounds.

In addition to the team celebrations, AMETEK Programmable Power would like to recognize all the employees who celebrated 20+ years of service in January through June of 2022. We’re extremely lucky to have such a dedicated group as part of the team!
